With over two decades of experience in nonprofit development, organizational leadership, and strategic management, Maya is a seasoned executive dedicated to advancing impactful missions through effective stewardship and innovation. Her career spans leadership roles at impactful organizations like the Human Rights Campaign, EMILY’s List and Civic Nation where she has driven growth, cultivated partnerships, and strengthened institutional capacity.

Most recently, Maya served as the Deputy Chief of Protocol of the United States at the Department of State, where she oversaw high-level programs and initiatives supporting diplomacy and international engagement.

Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her results-driven approach, uniting mission, people, and strategy to create measurable and enduring change.
